Terms of Service

1. Acceptable Use

MussNV is a secure file transfer service. You agree not to use the service to transfer illegal content, malware, or content that infringes on others' intellectual property rights. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate this policy.

2. File Expiration

All transferred files are subject to automatic expiration based on the settings chosen at upload time (1 hour, 24 hours, or 7 days). Expired files and their associated encrypted data are permanently deleted. A cleanup process runs every 6 hours to remove expired files from our servers.

3. Zero-Knowledge Disclaimer

MussNV uses zero-knowledge encryption. Your files are encrypted in your browser before upload, and only you (or anyone you share the password with) can decrypt them. We cannot recover your files if you lose your password. It is your responsibility to remember or securely store the passwords you set for your transfers.

4. Payment Terms

Paid subscriptions (Pro and Business) are billed monthly through Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard. Upon cancellation, you retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period, after which your account will revert to the Free tier.

5. Tier Limitations

  • Free: 2 GB max file size, 24-hour max expiry, 5 transfers per day, single-file uploads only.
  • Pro ($9/month): 10 GB max file size, 30-day max expiry, unlimited transfers, multi-file and folder uploads.
  • Business ($29/month): 50 GB max file size, 90-day max expiry, unlimited transfers, all features including custom branding and receive pages.

6. Limitation of Liability

MussNV is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any data loss, unauthorized access resulting from password sharing, or damages arising from use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding any claim.

7. Service Modifications

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
